A new style

The team has explored a style they have not shown for some time, hoping to offer the audience something visually fresh. They have found the process enjoyable.

Choreography and the choice of music

Their direction was not clear at first. With this season’s rules allowing more freedom, they wanted to try something more classical and playful that would highlight their lines, rather than simply create an energetic atmosphere.

After listening to different pieces of music and testing them through improvised dancing, they settled on their current selection.

The program draws on Broadway, emphasizing the interaction between the dancers and a sense of genuine happiness, rather than mechanically performing a smile.

Within the rhythm dance’s constraints on free movement, they aim to create a distinctive performance and draw the audience into its world.

Their team is highly international, with members from different clubs. They support one another both emotionally and technically, particularly when someone is tired or having a difficult day.

Technical challenges and goals for the season

The pattern dance returns after four years. This season’s selection, the Golden Waltz, is fast and technically demanding.

Their main challenge is to match the timing precisely while skating at speed and controlling their coverage of the ice. They are gradually working through the execution problems that arise when they travel too quickly.

Rather than setting a specific target placement, they want to improve day by day and enjoy skating.

They hope to reproduce their best training performances in competition, explore their potential and offer the audience a variety of performances.
