Full Package Skater”

Looking forward to returning to China, this time to Shenzhen

Jacob will compete at this season’s Cup of China in Shenzhen. He has visited China twice before, for a Grand Prix event and for the Four Continents Championships in Beijing, and is looking forward to competing there again.

This visit will give him the opportunity to discover Shenzhen, a new city for him. Beyond the competition, he is also looking forward to seeing familiar friends again and meeting new ones along the way.

This season’s focus: improving across the board

Discussing his training priorities for the season, Jacob did not single out one area. Instead, he wants to keep raising his overall competitive level.

That means working on both technical elements and program components, finding a better balance between them rather than relying on just one aspect of his skating.

The goal: becoming a full-package skater

Jacob hopes to develop into a more complete figure skater. Technical difficulty, quality of execution, skating skills, performance and the overall presentation of his programs are all part of that goal.

For him, this season is about continuing to explore his potential and bringing those different abilities together into a complete competitive package.

Ultimately, he wants to get as close as possible to his personal best form and become a truly well-rounded skater.
