After the 14th National Winter Games, they had spent more than a year away from competition. Returning meant rebuilding not only their fitness, but also their feel for international events and the details of a complete program.
For the rhythm dance, they chose Hong Kong pop songs with a strong cultural identity and a sense of a particular era: *Du Zi Qu Tou Huan* and *Hu Hua Shi Zhe*.
The program marks a clear change from their previous style. Familiar music helps them connect emotionally and brings out a lighter, more vivid side of their skating.
For the free dance, they returned to *Batman*. They had used the program in 2022/23, but injuries and other setbacks had left few opportunities to present it fully.
This was not simply a matter of bringing back an old program. Lifts, transitions and other details were redesigned, with the aim of increasing the difficulty while making the movement more closely reflect the music and characters.
