他们没有选择一直停留在自己最熟悉的表达方式里。
本赛季韵律舞，两人在节目中加入了嘻哈元素，希望让节目拥有更加年轻和鲜明的节奏感。
而到了自由舞，他们给自己的要求则更加直接：
走出舒适区。
尝试不同的音乐、不同的动作语言，以及过去没有充分尝试过的表达方式。
中国杯韵律舞，他们得到58.61分，排名第10。
自由舞得到85.31分，单项排名上升至第9。
最终，他们以143.92分获得第9名。
从绝对分数来看，他们与前面的国际强档以及另外两对中国组合仍然存在差距。
但对于年轻组合而言，这场中国杯的意义并不仅仅在于分数。

哪些东西能够在国内比赛完成，哪些东西到了国际赛场还需要重新打磨。
年轻意味着不成熟。

Of the three Chinese ice dance teams, Xiao Zixi and He Linghao are the youngest—and perhaps the most intent on pushing beyond what they already know.
They have not chosen to remain within their most familiar forms of expression. This season’s rhythm dance incorporates hip-hop elements, giving the program a younger, more distinctive rhythmic identity.
For the free dance, their challenge to themselves is even more direct: step outside the comfort zone.
That means exploring different music, a different movement vocabulary and forms of expression they have not previously developed in depth.
At Cup of China, they scored 58.61 in the rhythm dance, placing tenth. Their 85.31 in the free dance lifted them to ninth in that segment, and they finished ninth overall with 143.92.
In terms of scores, a gap remains between them and both the leading international teams and the other two Chinese partnerships. But for a young team, the value of this competition extends beyond the numbers.
They are finding an identity of their own and learning, through an international Grand Prix, which aspects of their skating transfer successfully from domestic competition—and which need further refinement.
Youth brings inexperience. It also leaves room to change.
